Sub-Processors

Better Email ApS (“Better Email”) uses a limited number of third-party sub-processors to assist in providing our services. A sub-processor is a third-party data processor engaged by Better Email who has or potentially will have access to or process personal data on behalf of our customers.
Each sub-processor has been assessed for adequate data protection practices and is bound by a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) that ensures compliance with applicable data protection regulations, including the GDPR. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are in place.

Optional Integrations
Better Email offers optional integrations with third-party email service providers (ESPs). These sub-processors are only engaged when you actively enable an integration to export email content from the platform. Data is transferred only upon your instruction, and the ESP’s own privacy policy and data processing terms apply to any data received by them.

Notification of Changes
We may update this list from time to time as our business needs evolve. When we engage a new sub-processor or replace an existing one, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
Customers with a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in place will be notified of material changes to this sub-processor list at least 30 days in advance, giving them the opportunity to review and, where applicable, raise objections.
Right to Object
If you have a DPA with Better Email, you may object to the appointment of a new sub-processor within 30 days of notification. Objections should be submitted in writing and include reasonable grounds related to data protection. We will work in good faith to address your concerns or, if we cannot reach a resolution, you may terminate the affected services in accordance with your agreement.
