Campaigns that learn
from themselves
Opens, clicks, links, devices, time and location all flow back from your ESP within hours of a send, pinned to the exact campaign your team built in Better Email. Your data is right where you build, and helps you improve your next campaign.

Negative signals
Your best open rate this quarter, 4.2 points over your average. Nice one. And almost half the clicks went to a single link: the VIP angle works.
Your campaign is on fire
The click map turns the sent email into a heatmap: every link's share of clicks, pinned right where the link lives. One glance shows where the heat is and which modules leave readers cold.
Every link, ranked · select one to find it on the email
6 more links · 6% of clicks
The exact revision that was sent. The click map renders on the campaign as it went out, not the current draft, so the numbers match what subscribers actually saw.
Design questions get design answers. “Should the store locator move up?” stops being an opinion war when you can see it earned 9% of clicks from the footer.
Every module earns its place. Over a few sends you learn which modules pull their weight. Evidence your next design system revision can act on.

Curated for VIPs
No subscriber data. Period.
Better Email never stores, transfers, or processes recipient-level data. Aggregation happens inside your ESP, and only campaign totals cross the wire. So when legal or IT asks "can we even do this?", the answer is a calm yes. Here's why.
Campaign-level counts: sent, delivered, opens, clicks, unsubscribes, complaints
Clicks per link URL
The engagement timeline, as counts per 3-hour bucket
Send metadata: subject, date, audience size
Email addresses
Subscriber keys
Per-recipient event rows
Profile or segment data
COUNT(DISTINCT ...) runs in your account. Only the result travels.
Aggregation runs inside your ESP. The counting happens in your own ESP account. Only the resulting totals cross the wire. Better Email never sees an individual event.
No subscriber tables, ever. No addresses, no keys, no per-recipient rows in our systems. There is nothing recipient-level to breach, subpoena, or add to a data-processing agreement.
Traffic that doesn't scale with your list. A few dozen lightweight API calls per day, whether you send to ten thousand or ten million. Your ESP rate limits stay yours.
The same posture as the rest of Better Email. Field structures sync, values never do. Performance data follows the exact same rule, so your security review stays short.
Two switches, both yours. Basic sync and extended aggregates are separate, admin-controlled opt-ins on the integration. Nothing turns on without you.
The campaign list becomes a scoreboard
Sent, opens, clicks: inline on every row of the campaign library. The next send gets planned in the same view that shows how the last five did.

History that stays attached
The numbers live on the campaign forever. Next year's Black Friday starts from this year's report.
No Monday-report ritual
No screenshots, no deck. The results are just there for everyone, the morning after the send.

Campaign goal check
I will keep these goals visible while you build.
Your campaign will be measured against the targets you choose, not a generic industry average.
Live on Salesforce Marketing Cloud. More ESPs coming.
Performance data rides the same integration that exports your campaigns. Two levels, both opt-in.
Performance sync
Zero setupWorks with the Marketing Cloud connection you already have. The moment a campaign is sent, Better Email reads SFMC's own send roll-ups: sent, delivered, bounces, opens, clicks, unsubscribes.
If you can export, you can measure. Nothing to install.
Extended performance data
~20 min · we provision itA small automation in your Automation Studio deepens the report: spam complaints, unique vs. total engagement, clicks per link, and the 3-hour engagement timeline.
The SQL runs entirely inside your account. Better Email only reads the totals.
One normalized model under the hood. Every ESP's results land in the same report, so the loop closes the same way wherever you send from. Salesforce Marketing Cloud is first.
Betty gets a memory for what works
Today Betty builds campaigns from your design system and brand voice. Performance data adds the missing ingredient: evidence. Because every send's results land in one normalized shape, they become something Betty can learn your audience from.
- Ask "why did the VIP send outperform?" and get an answer from your own numbers
- Compare sends head to head, or tag them ("all Christmas campaigns") and see what wins year over year
- "Build a hero like the one that won Black Friday", receipts included
Performance data ships first; Betty's use of it is in development. One more reason the results belong where creation happens.
Concept preview, grounded in the aggregate metrics on this page and nothing more
One loop, end to end
Performance data completes the workflow your team already runs in Better Email.
